Brief biography of Brian R. Glasberg

Brian Glasberg received his B.Sc and Ph.D from Salford University in Applied Chemistry in 1968 and 1972, respectively. He then worked as a chemist, refining precious metals. He spent some time as a researcher into process control before joining the laboratory of Brian C.J. Moore at the University of Cambridge, initially as a Research Associate and then as a Senior Research Associate. His research focuses on the perception of sound in both normally hearing and hearing-impaired people. He also works on the development and evaluation of hearing aids, especially digital hearing aids. He is a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America and has published over 200 book chapters and research papers.
